Charming 1-Acre Escape and Suite Near Historic Downtown Franklin

Mark was very communicated and responsive leading up to and during our stay. This place is an amazing alternative to a hotel. Well appointed, huge walk-in shower and kitchenette. Also, a great location for those visiting Franklin. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Franklin. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Starting with the good; Our unit was clean, the kitchen was sufficiently appointed to make our breakfasts daily, and the location was perfect for our purpose which was to do a reconnaissance visit for eventual relocation to Williamson County. There’s food shopping down the street, 3 miles to downtown Franklin which luckily had a Bluegrass Festival while there, and 30 min to Nashville which was fun. Host communication was excelllent. Plenty of outdoor activities if you’re into hiking with plenty of trail networks by Bicentennial park which links to Williamson County Parks and Rec, and kayak launch points. A few quips: it’s a multi unit rental place and you can’t control the behavior of other tenants, so a bit disappointed to have fireworks launched and have the sulfur smoke go in our airco unit stinking up our unit and leaving debris on the shared driveway, and tossing unbagged garbage in the trash bins next to our unit. It’s about time to consider a new mattress and couch in our particular unit, and provide a dish strainer or drying mat. Small details, but that’s the difference between a 4 and 5 star rating.
